Cheow Lan Lake, nestled within the heart of Khao Sok National Park, is one of Thailand’s gems. This is a land before time, with over 100 islands on the lake. Hop aboard a traditional long-tail boat and glide across emerald waters, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and tropical forests. 

Let our expert guides take you on a one night adventure! Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and relaxing on the floating rafthouses in this tranquil environment. Venture on late afternoon and early morning boat rides when you may catch a glimpse of the wildlife.

As the day winds down, chill under a canopy of stars. Drift to sleep in your standard floating raft house, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the lake.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Cheow Lan Lake Adventure

• Morning
  • Depart at 8.45 am  toward the lake, stopping at a local guesthouse for a 1.5 to 2 hours hike.
  • Savor a local lunch at the local guest house and drive to the lake pier
• Afternoon
  • Scenic boat ride past limestone cliffs to arrive at your floating rafthouse with private bathroom
  • Kayak around, swim in the lake and enjoy the beautiful view 
  • Venture on a late afternoon boat ride to spot wildlife
  • Enjoy dinner and evening surrounded by the serene ambiance of the lake

• Accommodation: rafthouse with private bathroom
• Meals Included:  lunch, dinner

Day 2: Morning boat ride & Farewell

• Morning
  • Morning boat ride around 6.30 am. Try to spot wildlife and take in the amazing views
  • Return from the boat ride and have breakfast at the rafthouse. Enjoy one more swim at the lake
  • Enjoy an early lunch at the Rafthouse
  • Scenic boat ride along limestone cliffs with a stop at the iconic Three Rock Landmark
• Lunch & Departure either:
  • Return at the Lake pier at around 12.30 pm, your private transfers (if booked) will be waiting at the pier with your luggage
  • Comeback to Our Jungle Resort around 13.30 pm

• Meals Included: breakfast, lunch

 

Notes

• Please note that only adult-sized life jackets are available on Cheow Lan Lake. Families traveling with children are encouraged to bring their own child-sized life jackets or suitable flotation devices.
• The program and accommodation may be subject to change, due to weather conditions, guide recommendations and availability of raft houses on a given day.
• This trip joins with other lake goers.
• Bring cash to pay for national pack entry, kayak deposit and additional beverages during the trip
• A single surcharge applies for solo traveler. All rooms are based on twin-sharing basis.
• All Our Jungle Resorts Cheow Lan Lake Tours include mandatory activity and travel insurance for the duration of the tour. Private lake trips can be arranged to a number of different locations on the lake. Pricing for Private trips depends on group size. Full itinerary and pricing will be provided at the time of booking.
• Please prepare a small bag for a one night stay only, your bulkier luggage can be stored at Our Jungle Resort
• All lake tour cancellations need to be done 7 days prior to the tour date to avoid being charged fully. This policy compensates for the resources and arrangements already made. However, we can provide a letter to support any claims with your travel insurance.
