Role and Responsibilities

Our Jungle Camps, Front Office / Reception Staff, will work along our local team in close contact with our mainly Western guests, therefore a service oriented mind-set, along with above average English language skills both written and spoken are strongly required from all applicants.

Additional Requirements Include:

  • Applicants must be able to communicate both in written and spoken English, need to have advanced Computer and MS Office Knowledge
  • High School Diploma or relevant work experience is considered an advantage but not required

Role and Responsibilities

Our Jungle Camps, Restaurant and F&B Supervisor, will work along our local team in close contact with our guests, therefore a service oriented mind-set, along with above average English language skills both written and spoken are strongly required from all applicants. Daily tasks include the preparation and planning of service and kitchen tasks and responsibilities. Marketing & Sales Assistant Manager

Start Date: Immediate Duration: Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

Our Jungle Resorts in Khao Sok is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator. There are 42 bungalows and treehouses across two properties – Our Jungle House and Our Jungle Camp Eco-Resort. For over 35 years, we have been a leading example of nature tourism and sustainable practice.
The Thai or Foreign candidate needs to be based in Khao Sok at least half time each month, and work effectively in a mixed team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies for domestic and international clients, and maintaining effective relationships with B2B partners and sales channels.
Our Jungle Resorts will provide an appealing compensation package, inclusive of government health insurance, work permit (if needed), performance-based bonuses, and food & accommodation while working onsite.

 

Required Skills and Competencies
● Lead and develop Sales & Marketing team by proactively coaching and mentoring team members
● Commercially focused, have the ability to analyse market data and be results driven
● Articulate, confident communicator at all levels both with colleagues and clients.
● Strong understanding of digital marketing including web analytics metrics and tools.
● Creative and the ability to influence decisions.
● High level of customer focus and understanding.
● Conduct bi-monthly snapshot meetings with the team and update on activities/sales to date and plans for the months ahead.
● Encourage positive working relations with all departments by regular communications and feedback.
● General interest in sustainability, nature, and local Thai culture
● Written and spoken English, Thai language skills preferred

Job Responsibilities
● Devise and implement the overall sales and marketing plan for the resorts and actively monitor its progress in terms of achieving KPIs, budgets and revenues.
● Liaise with the General Manager in adopting price strategies across the resorts
● Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with tour agents and other B2B partners
● Analyse current markets and identify new markets and potential clients.
● Organise and conduct site inspections and familiarization trips in conjunction with the resort team.
● Manage the number and performance of third party and promotional websites and liaise with providers in ensuring optimisation of the resort’s online position.
● Proactively monitor the resort’s profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion.
● Liaise with the Digital Team in managing the content of the resort’s website.
● Oversee social media platforms including strategy, content creation, and managing input from influencers, volunteers, and subcontractors
● Develop and implement a strategic sales plan and outreach to high-value new clients and communicate them clearly to all parties.
● Manage all promotional collateral from copyright through to design and print and ensure that it is in line with Our Jungle Resorts.
● Ensure in house promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotions.
● Manage the guest database and ensure that client’s details are accurate and UpToDate.
● Ensure that all client correspondence is tracked and recorded, including quotations and contracts.
● Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct at all times when dealing with clients, guests etc.
● Track market trends, emerging markets, and competitor development; and use this knowledge to improve existing products and develop new offerings
● Submit sales & marketing activity reports plans and progress to the directors and general manager
● General operations support as needed (guest relations, problem solving, etc.)

The Thai or Foreign candidate needs to be able to work effectively in a mixed team, ensuring that reservations are fulfilled in a timely manner while meeting all deadlines. You will work closely with our sales, customer service, and operations teams to ensure that all details of the reservation are accurate and that our clients’ needs are being met. In this role, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are a must.
Our Jungle Resorts will provide an appealing compensation package, inclusive of government health insurance, performance-based bonuses, and food & accommodation while working onsite.

Required Skills and Competencies
● Knowledge of the Reservation Procedure, hotel and guest room facilities/services and ensures reservations teams are equally knowledgeable.
● Customer service skills and attitudes are at the heart to ensure the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
● Communicates both written and spoken effectively and concisely with customers, team members and other managers.
● Experience related to tourism including some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
● Fluent in written and spoken English. Able to speak Thai will be advantageous.

 

Job Responsibilities
● Manage the booking process for direct booking and tour agents and work closely with the reservation staff to ensure it runs smoothly.
● Responsible for preparation of occupancy and forecast, recording direct rates in the system.
● Keep abreast of changes in rates, promotions, and policies in order to provide accurate information to guests.
● Monitor the reservation system for errors and take appropriate action to resolve them.
● Create excellent guest experience, upselling products, and make aware of what guests want and how to meet their needs during the reservation process.
● Ensure special handling of repeat guests and very VIP guests and supervising Group Reservations.
● Process payments and handle financial transactions related to reservations.
● Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating to management as necessary
● Follow up tentative bookings and update reservation status. Reviews no-show and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to hotel’s policy
● Responsible for the work schedule and assist with training new reservation agents as needed
● Generate various reports related to reservations as needed and present to the directors and general manager as needed.
● General operations support as needed (guest relations, problem solving, etc.)

General Manager, Khao Sok Eco-Resort

Start Date: May 15th 2024 Duration: Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

Our Jungle Camp Resort in Khao Sok is looking for an experienced manager. We maintain 19 bungalows and
treehouses situated along the river, along with a bustling restaurant and tour operation. The resort also
supports an adjacent camp for environmental education. We are seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the
General Manager of our eco-resort. This key leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of resort
operations while ensuring a strong commitment to sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional
managerial skills, a passion for hospitality, and a deep appreciation for environmental conservation.

Responsibilities:
Achievement of financial targets and key indicators of guest experience. Monitor financial
performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets
and profitability goals.
Implement long and short-term strategic plans to drive sales, marketing, and product quality.
Oversee appropriate hiring, training and motivating of staff. Recruit, train, and supervise a
diverse team of employees, fostering a positive work environment built on teamwork, mutual
respect, and professional growth.
Lead, encourage, and supervise a dynamic team to assure high standards of customer
service. Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments within the resort,
including accommodations, dining, recreation, and guest services.
Develop and oversee the implementation of guest experience enhancement initiatives,
including nature-based activities, eco-tours, and educational programs.
Oversee resort operations including maintenance and improvement of rooms and facilities.
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and a commitment to the
resort’s values and mission

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on
ecotourism or sustainable resort management would be a plus.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse
team of employees
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Thai and English, with the ability to
effectively interact with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels. Competent in marketing
and social media is a plus.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to analyze
financial data and make data-driven decisions.
Deep understanding of environmental conservation principles, practices, and regulations,
with a demonstrated commitment to sustainability.
Open to both singles and couples.
