Breaking News from Thailand and Our Jungle Resorts in Khao Sok this week (Tuesday 12th of October 2021), The country’s Prime Minister, Prayuth Chan-ocha, has announced quarantine free arrival to the Kingdom of Thailand by air from at least46 countries, to be confirmed by the CCSA, but expected to be coming into effect from November 1st, 2021 onwards.
Additionally, has the visa application process changed from the Certificate of Entry (COE) to the new Thailand Pass, which is expected to reduce the required amount of documents and processing time. You can find out more about health insurance and other requirements under the link below:
Foreign arrivals will only need to provide a negative result of an RT-PCR test from their home country as well as to conduct an additional test upon arrival in Thailand. After providing the two required negative results, international visitors are able to travel throughout Thailand under the by provinces erected regulations.
The to-date announced list has been extended to include 46 low-risk departure countries such as Singapore, Germany, China, the UK, and the USA, with additional countries to be added later in December 2021.
To be on the safe side, travelers are advised to wait for the official announcement of the changes in quarantine rules to be published by the Royal Gazette or for the official news release issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in later October 2021.

For travelers arriving in Thailand within October 2021, quarantine rules have been reduced to 7 days for fully vaccinated visitors.
For families with non-vaccinated children or travelers without vaccination status, quarantine was reduced from 14 to 10 days.

The previously required negative Covid Test Results have been exempted for fully vaccinated visitors to Phuket, Phang Nga and Surat Thani Province. |

For domestic visitors, travel restrictions and recommendations are beginning to ease, nonetheless are all visitors to Khao Sok National Park required to provide:
- a negative Covid Test result (acquired not longer than 72 hours before entering the park).
- or by providing proof of being fully vaccinated.
